Gihun’s death felt completely pointless. He went there to stop the game, yet he barely accomplished anything in season 3. I absolutely hated the Frontman for turning that baby into a player. The characters just grew colder and more detached.
The VIPs and the boat scenes were unbearable to watch. That whole scene with Daeho was a mess — they really did Myungi, Daeho, and Gihun dirty. Both Gihun and Daeho acted completely out of character: Gihun mercilessly killed Daeho just for being scared, yet he spared Player 100 and that shaman lady? It made no sense.
I already disliked Myungi before, but at least he tried to improve in season 2. Why did they have to make him so evil again in his final scene? And Minsu showed no growth at all. I wish he’d had some development and become stronger.
They killed off all the likeable characters right at the start — Hyun-ju, the grandma, Junhee. Even in this season, there were so many players who could’ve been strong candidates to win. I also wish they’d explored the Frontman’s arc more and told the story of how he became the Frontman.
The only character who ended up with a decent life was Junho, but he barely did anything this season — then he suddenly has a baby that isn’t even his, plus money? The only fan theory that actually turned out to be true was Guard 11 protecting Player 246.
